Plaaskind Padstal was established in 2016.
What started as a hobby very quickly became a full-time job. Someone once said if you love what you do you don’t work a day in your life.
We started small but expanded over time. Local people started contacting us to ask if we would be willing to sell consignment stock on their behalf. We thought this is a great idea to expose people to what Talent and craftsmanship we have in the village.
What started as a coffee shop with a gift section slowly grew over time into a small unique quirky little padstal where you can enjoy coffee and the best honey milk tart you have ever tasted. And do not forget the Oooh so yummy moist cakes! (Moerse Lekker Koek)
Fantastic breakfast and hamburgers to die for. Don’t forget about our famous homemade pies. Our unique pie selection includes kudu, bobotie, pepper steak and chicken.
Our freshly baked Roosterbrood made on the fire, is enough to make people take a day trip just to get some.
We double as at tourism Centre and like to inform people about what they can do, where to go or what to see in the area.
