Thomas Bains Cottage

Thomas Bains Cottage is a real farmhouse

The rustic old farmhouse has amazing views and a lovely porch. The house was built by Thomas Bain in 1862 while he was building the Prince Alfred Pass and has original yellow wood floors and ceilings which we are still busy restoring. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place.

Enjoy the countryside. Hiking trails are available. Relax and find yourself again. Be part of our story of the Restoration of Thomas Bains Mansion. Unwind from the hustle and bustle of city life.
